GC Rieber Shipping is an Norwegian offshore/shipping company with a long history and unique competence within offshore operations in harsh environment. We operate within the subsea, marine seismic and ice/support segments.

As a fully integrated shipping company our services include:

​Our headquarter and main ship management office is located in Bergen (Norway). In addition, we have a ship management company in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (Russia).

GC Rieber was founded in 1879 and has evolved over four generations. Initial business centred on the trading of skins and leather, with independent shipping activities first featuring in the early 1930s. From the 1930s to today, GC Rieber has established an unique position in the global offshore shipping industry.
