GC Rieber Shipping's core activities involves development, design, construction and maritime operation of specialised vessel within the offshore shipping business. The fleet is organised into the segments: Subsea & Renewables and Ice / Support. In addition, GC Rieber Shipping has a 19% stake in Shearwater GeoServices which operates as a global, customer-focused and technology-driven provider of marine geophysical services.

GC Rieber Shipping has been involved in offshore exploration and development with dynamically positioned subsea vessels since the 1980s. Our vessels can provide a wide range of services such as offshore construction, Inspection Maintenance and Repair (IMR), walk-to-work (W2W), ROV survey, ploughing, cable laying and pipe laying (SURF) operations. Our vessels are specially designed for operation under severe weather conditions.
